Last week our board of directors made the decision to close our office to the public in order to protect the health of our clients, volunteers and staff, with the latest advice from the government we are now closing it completely but we would like to reassure you that we will still be working and our commitment to our clients is our highest priority.
We are in the process of moving to an online counselling service. This is taking a little time to set up so that we can ensure we are providing the best, safest and most private service to our clients but we believe we will be able to offer our long-term clients support from as early as next week. Our fast-track service will also remain open, however we have currently closed our long-term waiting list.

If you are a current client or on our waiting list you should hear from us this week regarding potential online sessions.

If you require fast-track counselling please contact us by email and we will get back to you as soon as we are able. Due to limits on the number of sessions we can offer each week this service will only be available to people who are experiencing difficulties during pregnancy including making a decision about continuing a pregnancy.
Baby Bank
In preparation for a potential office closure we have spent the previous week handing out all outstanding baby bank requests as well as handing out all baby layettes up to the end of May. We have also provided a number of packs to the organisations we work with frequently so no one is left without during this period.

If you are a worker and worried about getting items for a baby please contact us by email and we may be able to provide a small pack of items although we unfortunately cannot guarantee all items and it may take up to a week to arrange collection.

We are not accepting any donations at this time.
Our Shops
Our Baby Boutique on Great Junction Street and our Family Store on Gorgie Road are both closed and we are not accepting any donations. If you have an inquiry about the shops please contact us by email. Unfortunately at this time we are unsure when they will re-open but we keep you up to date through our Facebook and website
Our Continued Survival
This is obviously a very worrying time for many organisations in the third sector, if you are able to we would really appreciate if you could support us in keeping our services open and free to our clients. There are a number of ways that you can do this.

Pledge a donation on the Aviva Community Fundraiser, we’re a third of the way to our goal with over 25 donors already!

Commit to a monthly donation by downloading our Standing Order form, filling it in and and sending it into your bank.

If you are concerned or having any difficulties during this worrying time we have a number of online mental health support services listed on our Facebook page and we will be updating our website with a more comprehensive list in the coming days.
