Vote for us!
We are putting ourselves forward for the Aviva Community Fund and we need your help!
Many of you already know that Lifeline does not received any government funding to provide our counselling or practical support services. In fact the majority of our funding comes from our two charity shops, with the rest coming from events like our Annual Sponsored Walk. We’ve been hoping for years to open a third shop, which would gives us a little bit more financial security and now we have the chance to do it.
We have put ourselves forward for a £10,000 grant from Aviva to open a third shop but we cannot do it without your help. We need you (and everyone you know) to go to Aviva’s site and vote for us. It’s super easy to do and only takes a minute or so. We’ve only got until the end of May to get the most votes.
We know it is a big project but having a third Lifeline shop would give us the financial security to keep helping women and families far into the future and allow our staff and volunteers to focus on helping people, rather than fundraising, which is what we are all about.
There is loads of competition for these grants so please share this with your friends, your family, your colleagues and everyone else you know. Thanks everyone!
